MADERA SUPERIOR COURT

ANNOUNCEMENT OF EXAMINATION
COURT REPORTER

Under general direction, record and transcribe verbatim stenographic
accounts of court proceedings and prepares certified transcripts of the
proceedings.

Salary

Monthly Salary: $4,826 – $5,866

Does not include possible transcript income.

SAN FRANCISCO SUPERIOR COURT

Official Reporter Salary & Benefits

$110,821.00 – $117,450.00 annually

Court Reporters who are Realtime Certified receive a 10% pay premium
and those who are or become Realtime Qualified by the Court will receive
a 5.5% premium.

The Court offers a generous flexible benefit cafeteria plan,
including a variety of health, dental, life insurance plans, and other
benefit options; a contributory retirement plan; paid vacation, sick
leave, and holiday pay; and a deferred compensation savings program.

Pro Tem Reporter Salary & Benefits

$53.0750 – $56.2500 hourly
*Plus additional Realtime pay differential of 5.5% for using Realtime or 10% for Realtime Certification.

After 1040 paid work hours, paid health and dental insurance,
retirement, and paid vacation and sick leave benefits may be available.

Annual compensation does not include possible transcript income.

SANTA CLARA SUPERIOR COURT

Santa Clara Superior Court is currently seeking reporters for open positions as official reporters and pro tem reporters.

Salary

$2,907.20 – $3,895.76 Biweekly
$6,298.93 – $8,440.81 Monthly
$75,587.20 – $101,289.76 Annually

Court Reporters who hold a state or national Realtime certification (CRR, CRP, or CCRR) shall receive a 20% pay differential.

Court Reporters who have successfully completed the
Court-administered Realtime certification test shall receive a 10% pay
differential.

The Court offers a substantial benefits package to include a choice
of health plan, dental plan, a vision plan, 13 paid holidays, 3 weeks of
vacation, 4 days of personal leave, day off on your birthday and sick
leave.

Our Court offered Health insurance plan is offered through Kaiser,

future vacancies for Court Reporter at its Santa Cruz and/or Watsonville
Courthouse locations.

SALARY

$43.64 -$47.20 Hourly
$3,491.20 – $3776 Biweekly
$90,771.20 – $98,176 Annually
