Reception by the California Court Reporters Association [CCRA] for Speaker of the House, Karen Bass

Posted in: Uncategorized

On December 17th, 2008, CCRA is hosting a reception for our California Speaker of the House, Karen Bass.

If you would like to attend, the information you need is listed below.  Please be sure to RSVP by December 15th, 2008.

Speaker Bass is he highest ranking officer of the Assembly, elected by the Assembly Members for this next two-year term. She presides over the Floor Session and has represented Los Angeles’ 47th Assembly District since 2005.

Speaker Bass is looking forward to finding timely budget solutions and is very aware of the suffering in California during this budget crisis.

As stated in her vision, Speaker Bass writes, “We need to come together to respond to the state’s current economic crisis by tossing aside the boxes we put ourselves in and the labels we place on others to work in unison to get the job done. As we strive together to ease the suffering caused by this immediate budget situation, we must also re-examine the big picture of the California budget so we can prevent similar problems in the future.”

Let’s join together and celebrate the accomplishments of Speaker Bass!

Thanks for your time.
